Someone please help!!! :D

wats good everyone!!!! as some of u know i just finished settin up my new computer this week, and its freakin insane as far as ive seen so far lol.... only problem is when im using the volume control on my keyboard which is an hp keyboard it minimizes my css while in game. as im sure u can tell this is a big problem, especially during scrims... anyone have any idea what could be causing this and how i can fix it? btw im runnin windows 7 as well... thanks everyone!!!!

What model keyboard are you using?
Do volume bars show up on screen when you use volume control on kb?

ku 0841 is the model of keyboard. and yes it does have a volume bar that comes up on the screen when used.

This may disable your kb volume control or it may not. It's up to u to try, but I'm sure it's because of the animation for the volume control. It comes up as a separate window to the os, so it moves to it. You have to uninstall the HP Mediasmart bar in programs and features. If this is not installed on your PC I'll dig more. lemme know

yea ive been searchin for it but i cant find that anywhere... when i push the volume buttons, all it is is avolume bar that pops up in the middle of the screen, nothin animated or anything.... unless thats what u meant? but i cant find this thing anywhere

Ok this leads me to believe that Launch Manager is the issue it controls on screen displays liek brightness/contrast/volume uninstalling this would get rid of those features you may still adjust them it just wont show the green display.

i dont have win7 so i haven't played with it much but before un-installing see if you can adjust settings in Launch Manager.

I can vouch for FaNToM's knowledge - him and I have had identical HP keyboards at one point. They're probably actually exactly what you've got now.. So I think he's giving good advice =D

yea idk this shit is annoying as hell..... it even minimizes when i just have something on fullscreen..... whether its a video or a game or even a pic on fullscreen it will minimize it..... soooo annoying!!!!!! lol

Uninstall the keyboard drivers in control panel programs and features. The sound knob should still work to adjust your volume

i dont use my speakers during game though i use my headset....... which at points needs to be lower or louder

don't forget that you have a volume control in your cs options all you have to do is his ESC. im sure there is even a way that you could bind a key to turn it up or down but im not sure

try this out night

bind "[" "volume .25" This will turn your in-game volume down to 25%
bind "]" "volume .75" This will turn your in-game volume up to 75%

you can play with the values but you get the idea

also you could always smash your keyboard on the ground and go buy one that doesn't completely fail you :P
